AMOXYCOL
Gastrointestinal, respiratory and urinary tract infections caused by amoxicillin and colistin
sensitive micro-organisms, like Campylobacter, Clostridium, Corynebacterium, E. coli,
Erysipelothrix, Haemophilus, Pasteurella, Salmonella, penicillinase negative Staphylococcus
and Streptococcus spp. in in animals.
The action of amoxicillin is based on inhibition of cell wall synthesis. Colistin interact strongly
with phospholipids and penetrate into and disrupt the structure of cell membranes.
